The curling curlew (or 'zarapico' as it is known in local speech) is a scandalous bird, like all waders that run on the slippery rocks left by the sea when it leaves. The bug pours out the sound when the sun goes down and Dutch, British and Nordic travelers are fascinated. Soundtrack of mariner superstitions and pedestrians looking for calm.
