Tarassaco Officinale is a generative video designed for “Eliotropica”, an audio/video project exploring the similarities between Nature and New Technology. The word “Eliotropica” derives from a natural phenomenon called Heliotropism, a form of Tropism relating to the diurnal motion of plant parts (flowers or leaves) in response to the direction of the sunlight. The multimedia contents of Eliotropica are generated from textures of leaves and flowers of spontaneous plants. Movements and colours characterizing both audio and video contents, evoke the natural and spontaneous growth and the movements of Nature.
